Getting to Whidbey

GETTING HERE
From East and North: Follow I-5 to Exit 230 in Burlington and continue west on State Route 20 onto the island across spectacular Deception Pass Bridge.
From the South: Drive north on I-5 to Exit 182 (41st St) for a scenic drive along State Route 525 to Mukilteo, or proceed to Exit 189 (Mukilteo/Whidbey Island Ferry) for a quicker route. From Mukilteo, board a Washington State Ferry for a 20-minute ride bound for Clinton.
From SeaTac airport, bus shuttle, limousine, and car rental service are available. Seatac Shuttle has several departures and stops to all major towns on the island in both directions.
From the Olympic Penninsula: Take State Route 101 to State Route 20. Drive east to Port Townsend and enjoy a 30-minute ride aboard the Washington State Ferry to Keystone.
By Boat: Overnight moorage is available at Oak Harbor, Cornet Bay, Langley and Coupeville, with a temporary moorage float in Clinton.
By Air: Take a 25-minutes airline flight to or from Seattle. Private planes may land at Whidbey Air Park in Langley, Coupeville Airpark, or take a 30-minute seaplane flight from Seattle to the Oak Harbor Marina on Kenmore Air.
Island Transit offers fare-free transportation along SR525 with a pickup at the Clinton Ferry.
